“I always get to where I’m going by walking away from where I’ve been”

“I always get to where I’m going by walking away from where I’ve been”

Winnie the Pooh has always been a source of truth and inspiration to many, including me.
I recently saw the latest movie, where we see Christopher Robin all grown up and overwhelmed with work and unable to maintain a healthy work-life balance.
There are a lot of interesting moments in the movie, but a line of Winnie the Pooh really got me thinking:
“I always get to where I’m going by walking away from where I’ve been…”
We really need to move away from where we’ve been if we want to get to another place. Whether this is emotional, financial, physical…we do need some form of change in order to achieve progress.
It still amazes me how people keep trying to do the same thing, which hasn’t worked for them so far, over and over again and expect to see change. I feel like it’s illogical, and it seems that me and Winnie agree on that :)
